HOMEWORK MULTIPLICATION TABLES Learning tables and being tested each Friday SPELLING 10 spellings a week that will be tested on a Friday LEARNING LOGS A range of subjects to reinforce learning in the classroom – given on a Friday, due in the following Thursday. MATHS Worksheets / Abacus – given on Friday, due in the following Thursday.
Buddy System • Year 5 will continue to be buddies to the Year 1 children. • They will be paired up and get a chance to read with, sit with them in special assemblies, and in the playground on certain ‘buddy events’.
