Thinking about the picture- now that we have heard the poem do you think this is an accurate picture of the Highwayman ? Tell your partner. (Don’t forget ....what is your evidence?)
Extension/Additional activity Treasure box Imagine the highwayman had a treasure box. What would the box look like? What would the Highwayman have in it? Think of three things that were inside the box. Write down what they are, why they were in the box, where the highwayman got them from, why are they special.....
