  2. God Looks at the Inside • …anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment.  • Murder and adultery are just the external manifestations of an internal problem… • Inappropriate anger does not equal certain eternal condemnation it merely qualifies you for it

  3. Be the Bigger Man… • Making peace is more important than formal worship. • Psalm 51:16-17 16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings. 17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. • Be the bigger man… quickly! Vs 25-26

  4. Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures • Vs 29-30: Jesus is not being literal! • We must deal radically with sin and cut it off at the source • Don’t just feel sorry for yourself… DO SOMETHING!!! (Joseph) • Genesis 39 10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her.
