  2. Class Assignment • Separate into three groups • Each group will prepare a presentation about each of the following trade agreements • GATT • NAFTA • CAFTA

  3. Class Assignment • Students will research each trade agreement and answer the following questions • What is the official title • Which nations participated in them • What are the basic terms of the agreement • What are some economic benefits • What are some economic set-backs

  4. Class Assignment • Come to class tomorrow ready to discuss your research with your group • Each group will design a PowerPoint/Poster Project with their research • The PowerPoint/Poster Project will be presented to the class

  5. After all presentations are complete • Student will decide on a trade agreement to write about • Each student will turn in an essay about their opinion on any trade agreement researched • The essay must include • Details about the trade agreements terms • The economic benefits or set-backs • And their opinion of this agreement • How does it effects Louisiana and US
