Ch. 6 The French Fact # 1 Another project begins today as you will create FIVE ‘baseball style trading cards’ of early Louisiane explorers or famous people of the era.
Ch. 6 The French Fact # 2 You will be given a set of directions – I KNOW YOU WON’T READ THEM – but this is how I will be grading them. I will give you SIX index cards (you need five) plus I will give you all the photos already printed for the cards.
Ch. 6 The French Fact # 3 What you must do ON YOUR OWN is search the text book of various websites – NOT WIKIPEDIA – for information about your selected people. Pages 174-202 Online @ www.mystatehistory.com Password: la13hist
Ch. 6 The French Fact # 4 Each card will begin with an 3x5 index card. The portrait goes on the UNLINED side and the Information required will be written on the LINED side. Use strong, accurate sentences… Ask yourself “Why did this person stand out from similar people?” Make a bulleted list of at least 5 facts that support your statement about the importance of the person.
