  4. Charles John Andersson • He was born on March 4th 1827 Varmland, Sweden. • He was a Swedish explorer, hunter and a trader as well as a Naturalist and an Ornithologist. • He is one of the most notable explorers Southern Africa.

  8. Tom Crean • Tom Crean is nicknamed the Irish Giant. He was born on the 20th of July 1877 in County Kerry. • He was a member of three of the four major British expeditions to Antarctica. • Crean was part of Captain Scott’s expedition to the South Pole which Captain Scott died.
