  2. Project background • Experience shows: seniors often don‘t speak foreign languages • But this knowledge would facilitate accessing other countries and cultures

  3. Project idea • Learning partnership to find new instruments: „Door openers for Europe“

Learning partners • University of AlicantePermanent University Students & Alumni Association • Spanish National Association of University Programmes for Older Adults (AEPUM) • Istituto di Scienze Sociali “Nicolò Rezzara”, Vicenza • University of the Third Age, Łódź (ŁUTW) • Towarzystwo Wolney Wszechnica Polskiej, Lublin • Coordination: ILEU (in cooperation with ZAWiW and the association ViLE), Ulm • (University of the Third Age in Malta)

  6. Action and methods I • Partner meetings in Lublin (Nov. 2004), Bad Urach near to Ulm (April 2005), Łódź (Dec. 2005) and Alicante (April 2006) Originally planned: partner meetings in Vicenza (Oct. 2006) and Łódź (May 2007)
