Lunker Lake I remember Poem Iremember the fragrant of PB and J lurking through the crevices of the creaky dock. I remember the reflection of myself in the lake that made my face look like a jigsaw puzzle. I remember the green weeds that arranged a circle in the crisp water. I remember the vivid yellow tube that floated on the gentle waves I remember hearing the wind whip and the “ghost sounds” that boldly echoed in my ear lobes.

Mother(Metaphor ) She is the aroma of chocolate cookies roasting on a frigid December night She is the late night strolls in the white precious sand She is the warm hugs when you can not fall asleep She is the smooth tires that move fluently down the highway She is the one golden leaf that doesn’t fall of the tree in autumn. She is the glass that is half full She is the melody of my beloved song She is the one that will make you believe in yourself. She is the one who would travel to the moon and back for me one billon times She is my mother
