Preparation Steps • Upgrade Microsoft Windows NT 4 to Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Service Pack 1. • Upgrade all other existing servers to Microsoft Exchange 5.5 Server, Service Pack 3. • Change the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) port on the Microsoft Exchange 5.5 server being upgraded. • Install the Active Directory Connector (ADC) and configure a connection agreement (CA). • Run ForestPrep and DomainPrep.
