  2. Location WestPoint University is located about 50 miles north of New York City.

  3. History • WestPoint was founded on March 16, 1802 • General Petraeus is a notable person that graduated there. • West Point graduates dominated the highest ranks on both sides during the Civil War. Academy graduates, headed by generals such as Grant, Lee, Sherman and Jackson.

  4. Degrees • WestPoint has degrees in military science, academics, athletics , and leadership.

  5. Admission • Since to be in WestPoint are a member of the US army the government pays for your tuition and you receive a annual salary.

  6. Expenses • All room and board expenses are paid by the government.

  7. Activities • There are many activities at WestPoint like we have a football team, Parachuting team, track team, sailing team, and many others. • Over the summer you can attend a BCT center to prepare you for the army

  8. Statement of interest • On my senior year I plan to apply to WestPoint because of there military program so it.
