  1. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 (NKJV) 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—  52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

  2. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58 (NKJV) 55 “O Death, where is your sting?O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.  57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

  3. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

  4. “Anything worth having is worth working for.” The victory in Jesus has already been secured – John 16:33; Hebrews 7:25.

  5. Prove God’s Promises To prove God’s promises is to take Him at His word. Malachi 3:10 – this is not the “Prosperity Gospel.” The promises of God must be received in faith – Romans 4:17-21. This challenges the “control comfort” level.

  6. Practice God’s Presence When one realizes the presence of God one is able to live differently – Psalm 23:4.

  7. Proclaim God’s Praise Psa 113:3 “From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.” Matthew 5:16 – We are to proclaim God’s praise with lips and our lives.

  8. God’s Plan for Salvation Hear – Romans 10:17 Believe – Hebrews 11:6 Repent – Acts 17:30-31 Live obediently – 1 Peter 2:9 Confess – Matthew 10:32 Baptism – 1 Peter 3:21
