  2. OBJECTIVES: Students will learn the basic Subtraction concept of “take away” by singing the song Teasing Mr. Alligator. • FRAMEWORKS: MATH • NO.3.K.2. Develop strategies for basic subtraction facts: counting back; -one less, two less. • NO.3.K.3 Solve problems by using a variety of methods and tools (e.g., objects, and/or illustrations, with and without appropriate technology and mental computations). • FRAMEWORKS: MUSIC • M.1.K.1. Sing a variety of simple songs alone and with others; steady beat; fast and slow; high and low pitch; loud and soft. • M.2.K.3. Respond to music through movement (e.g., gross motor movement, freestyle). • M.4.K.2. Identify connections between music and the other fine arts (e.g., visual art) between music and disciplines outside the arts (e.g., children’s literature).
