Chik-fil-A at Waldorf- Military Appreciation Night November 6th, 5-7pm All Active Duty, Reserve or Retired service members will receive a FREE Chik-fil-A meal!!! Now accepting Holiday Hotel applications at the Indian Head USO until November 28th . What is Holiday Hotel? The program runs from Dec. 20-30th E6 and below have 1st priority Application must be at the IH USO by Nov. 28th This program covers the cost of a hotel room for family members to visit. Your NCO must sign off on the application. This is a first come, first serve program. Rooms are limited, get your application in first! Pick up your application in person at the Indian Head USO. USO Holiday Assistance Every holiday season the USO will work to provide assistance to military families in need. Our programs include Thanksgiving, Christmas food baskets, and presents for children. Stop by today to see how you can help out! Toiletries Pantry & Children’s Clothing Closet at the USO. FREE .Anytime. Give or take kid clothes. Take Shampoo, Deodorant Toothbrushes etc. Food Assistance Programs are available as well as in-house Food pantry. Don’t hesitate to come in. Little Patriots Playgroup Playgroup is every Thursday from 10:30 – 11:30. Infants to school age children are sure to have a great time playing, learning and socializing! Want to stay longer – don’t forget your lunch! EVERY THURSDAY! Free baked goods provided by Food Lion and St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church. USO / Healthnet Children’s Christmas Party on December 6th!!! See attached flyer for details! What a wonderful day to send your children off to a Winter Wonderland and enjoy the day to yourself! No parents please! Children must be between the ages of 4-12yrs old. There is limited space, we had a lot of fun last year. RSVP’s will only be accepted until November 14th. FREE SUNDAY MOVIE! November 16th Come join us at the base library! All movies are family friendly and usually a newer release. Popcorn, Disney DVD’s & other giveaways are always present! Every Friday night 6:30pm-9pm $1 Military Kids, $2 Civilians Must be at least 5 and in Kindergarten! Please use the contact info below if there’s anything in which the Family Readiness Group may be able to assist you. CBIRF’s Family Readiness Officer is also welcoming anyone interested in volunteering some of their time as a Family Readiness Assistant or a Morale Support Volunteer.
