Partnership Options • Mobile Blood Drive Sponsor (Indoor Facility) • Below are requirements to sponsor a mobile drive: • Minimum of 30’ x 40’ of total usable space (or 20’ x 20’ for a smaller drive) • Minimum of two 3-prong outlets • Tables and chairs • Accessible restrooms • Climate control • Sufficient lighting • Loading and unloading zone close to site • Adequate parking for donors and staff • A Red Cross representative will conduct a site check to verify requirements
Partnership Options • Mobile Blood Drive Sponsor (Bus) • Below are requirements to sponsor a mobile bus drive: • Minimum of 60’ square feet of total usable space. • Flat level service for mobile bus parking, minimum of seven parking spaces required. • Adequate room to allow the mobile bus to turn around and/or maneuver into a parking space. • Accessible restrooms. • Adequate parking for donors and staff. • A Red Cross representative will conduct a site check to ensure requirements are met.
Partnership Options • Fixed Site Sponsor • Fixed Site Sponsorship Options: • One-A-Week – Your organization would send one donor per week throughout the year to one of our blood donation centers. • Donor Days – Your organization would sponsor a day at one of our blood donation centers. A minimum of 5 donors is needed. • For other options, please contact a Red Cross representative.
Partnership Options • Blood Drive Co-Sponsor • Consider partnering with another organization to hold a blood drive. • This can be a great way to increase the potential donor pool as well • as divide coordinator duties.
Partnership Options • Volunteering • Blood Services volunteers are needed to help in the following • ways: • Greet and register blood donors • Provide refreshments to blood donors • Schedule donor appointments • Place donor reminder calls • Transport blood products • Complete clerical and computer work
Partnership Options • Volunteering • Chapter Services volunteers are needed to help in the following • ways: • Preparedness Instructors – teach lifesaving skills to others • Disaster Services Volunteers – assist people affected by a disaster • Special Event Volunteers – assist in planning and execution of events • Leadership Volunteers – serve on Board of Directors and other Chapter committees • For other options, please check with your local Red Cross Chapter
Partnership Options • Chapter Services Sponsorship • Chapter Services relies on generous financial and in-kind • donations to do their work. Seventy-seven cents of every dollar • goes directly to clients and programs. Sponsorship opportunities • may include: • Conduct a fundraiser (i.e. Dollars for Disaster) • Financial gifts to offset event and program costs • Free marketing support • In-kind materials donations
