  3. Ir + A + Infinitivo • Forma de Ir+ a + infinitivo = going to do something • You are not going to fail = no vas a fracasar. • I am going to get an “A”. • Voy a sacaruna “A”.

  4. ¿Qué vas a hacer? = What are you going to do? • SUMMARY: • To talk about what you’re going to do, use this formula: • Forma de ir + A + infinitivo • Ex: I am going to watch T.V. = Voy a ver la tele. • We are going to go out = Vamos a salir. • ** Remember: • ¿Qué vas a hacer? = • (What are you going to do?)

  5. Steps for calendar: • Step 1: Write 15 different infinitivos in random squares. The only ones you may repeat are: “Ir” and “jugar.” (max. 3 times each) You will not fill in all spaces • Step 2: On the back, write the DATE out including the number (word form) for each date that you wrote an infinitivo in. You do not need to mention the DAY. • Step 3: After the date, write what you are GOING TO DO on that date. Be sure to use the new formula we learned. • For at least 5 sentences, please include with whom you will do the activity. Con=with LOOK at the EXAMPLE in the bottom right hand corner of calendar. • Step 4: Translate all sentences to English.
