REACT 2012 - 2013

This project aims to change our school environment to be more eco-friendly and gain knowledge of living in a sustainable way. Students will conduct surveys, attend eco-seminars, and participate in fieldwork to understand ecology issues in partner schools.

  8. In cities trees and plants are really significant because they clean and absorb carbon dioxide from air. In Krakówthere is huge amount of greenareas like parks. Also, we havegotone of the biggest green spotsin Europe – Błonia. Jordan Park Blonia

  9. Sorting garbage is one of the best ways to keep the city clean. In Krakow I find a lot of baskets made ​​for this purpose and they are clearly visible through the colors, many people segregaterubbishand do it moreoftenthattheyused to. This helps removal services to municipal waste to landfill and to maintain cleanliness in the city.

  10. Public transport is really important for Kraków`secology. Variousmeans of transport areprovidedinour citylike trams, buses and havegot a special bike renting system. Because of that, we can reduce air contamination.
