  6. Other Habitats • Some other habitats that we that can be found around the world include: • Deserts • Grasslands

  8. grasslands • large, open areas of grass, such as pasture or prairie

  9. trait • a feature, or a characteristic of an animal that makes him different from another • This is an arctic hare. • Shortened ears and thick, white fur are among the physical traits that it has adapted to survive in the harsh, frozen tundra.
