  2. #1 Ronald Reagan Reagan was the 40th president of the United States. It is the most success case where an entertainer turned into politician. He was a sports reporter in Radio and later became a Hollywood actor. He started his career as an actor in 1939. He was a member of Democratic Party. In 1962 he joined Republican Party and elected for the governor of California in 1964. He won both the nomination and general election in 1980, defeating incumbent Jimmy Carter. Reagan was the 40th president of America.

  3. #2 Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold is an American actor, filmmaker and producer. Schwarzenegger began weight training at the age of 15 and became a body builder also. At the age of 20 he won MR. Universe title. In 2007 he elected as a Republican. He is 38th governor of California.

  4. #3 Fred Thompson Before joining politics Fred was an American actor, lobbyist and columnist. He worked as an assistant U.S. attorney and campaign manager for Senator Howard Baker after finishing school in 1967. He was the chairman of International Security Advisory Board. Later he was nominated for United States senator from Tennessee.

  5. #4 Clint Eastwood Eastwood is an American actor, filmmaker and producer. During 1960s he gained popularity for his charming acting in movies. He also won Academy award in film directing. She worked with the Democratic state committee and was being nominated for United States House of Representatives from Pennsylvania's 9th congressional district.

In 1982, Bachchan had a serious accident while filming and it was a big threat for his acting career. Then he took a break and started politics. He was elected the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. However his political career was for a short span of period.
