Check it out!! • www.northvillegirlsswimdive.com • All event forms and fliers are online as well • Meet schedule and event timeline too • Team news will come via email from ‘Mail Chimp’ • Start checking your email often for updates • Be sure to check your ‘junk mail’ as it could end up there

4. Mandatory Parent Volunteer Requirements • We need lots of help to run our Girls Swim & Dive Team.  We can't do it without parent volunteers. • Parents must work five times during the season. • Work events include: • Picnic Setup & Cleanup • Home Meet Workers (timers, runners, announcer, etc.) • Home Meet Food • Breakfast Food • Bonfire • End of Season Party • Banquet • Volunteer Sign Ups are done through Sign Up Genius. Please wait for the Invitations next week from Sign Up Genius before signing up. • The Sign Up Genius link is at www.signupgenius.com. The link is also on our website:  www.northvillegirlsswimdive.com • Go to Sign Up Genius and open an account.  It's free.  If you have used the site for another sport, you can use the same account username and password.  We'll send links directly to events needing volunteers.  Or enter nhs.girls.swim@gmail.com when prompted under the Find a Sign Up Tab and you'll see all the team's events.

5. Mandatory Forms to Participate • No swimmer can swim without the following: • Athletic physical and medical history forms completed after April 15th • Pay to Participate form/money turned in • Extra Curricular Code completed • All forms must be turned in no later than the first day of practice and can be found at http://www.northville.k12.mi.us/athletics

6. Mandatory Team Package Includes • Team Shirt • Team Suit (Nano Fracture Flyback-Orange) • Two Latex Caps with Last Name • One chamois for Divers • Team Fee • Booster Club Fee Suit Color Print

8. Suit and Clothing Try-On • Wednesday, May 28th • 7:00-9:00 pm • At the Stellon’s house 16577 Weatherford, Northville, 48168 • If you cannot make it on that date, go to Different Strokes to try on the Suit. Tell them you swim for Northville High School, and they will have the suit for you to try on.

9. Car Washes • Sign up to work via Sign Up Genius • Required to work one shift at each car wash • 9am – 3pm (Girls work a 3-hour shift) • Northville Fire Department • 45745 6 Mile Rd (across from the high school) • Save the dates: • Spring: Saturday, May 31st • Summer: Saturday, August 2nd • It can be hot so please bring/wear sunscreen and bring water to stay hydrated.

10. Food • Food is provided by parents for swimmers • Breakfast after Morning Practice when school starts • 40 swimmers for A team (M, W, F) • 25-35 swimmers for B team (T, Th) • After Home Meets for all teams involved in the meets • Signup for a particular food item. • Signup via Sign Up Genius

11. Yard Signs • Using the same signs as last year! • Order Form on line • $50.00 • Professionally manufactured fish signs • Durable • Longer lasting • Easier stake • Pick-up after first day of practice – Aug. 13th

12. Team Bonding • It’s a fun time • A good way to meet everyone • Strongly encouraged • Camp Copneconic, Fenton, MI • Lunch, Dinner, and Activities provided • Sunday August 17th • Leave NHS 7:30 am; Return NHS10:00 PM • Forms available on website • Sign up to help and drive via Sign Up Genius.

13. Ice Cream Social • After the first practice • Starts at 11 am • At NHS • Sign up to help via Sign Up Genius. • It’s free!!

14. Family Picnic • Event form on Website. • Signup to work via Signup Genius. • Team provides the meat. Bring: • Seniors -- 12 pack soda or case of COLD water in cooler • Juniors – Salad (lettuce or fruit) • Sophomores -- dessert • Freshman -- appetizers • Saturday, August 16th • $5 per person, swimmers are free • Noon – 2 PM • At Fish Hatchery Park • 641 Fairbrook, Northville

15. Black & Orange Meet • Tuesday August 26th • 6:00 pm at NHS pool • Dinner in cafeteria immediately after meet ($20 per family) • Dinner event form on Website • Team provides the main dishes. Bring: • Seniors: desserts • Juniors: appetizers • Sophomores: salad (lettuce or fruit) • Freshman: 12 pack soda or case of COLD water in cooler • Sign up to work meet via Signup Genius

16. Banquet • Dress up and celebrate the end of the season with your teammates! • Tuesday, December 2nd • Italian American Club • 39200 W. Five Mile, Livonia • 6:00 pm • $18 per adult, $14 age 10 and under (tentative)

17. Booster Club Support • Booster Club Rep is Tom Mroz, Darby’s Dad • Fundraising Golf Outing in August. • Our Team needs to provide one to two foursomes • Booster club fee per swimmer is included in mandatory team package • Possible opportunity to work football concessions for fundraising

19. We need hosts for the following: • Team bonfire in September or October • End of season party after Conference Meet • Please volunteer

20. And one more thing… • Use your Kroger rewards card to earn money for the swim team. Go online here and link your card to our team (91831). You must re-enroll each April so if you have designated us in the past, you need to renew your choice now
