A long time ago, in Egypt there lived an Egyptian called Edo. He is 12years old. He lived in a house with his father named Eddy. His father is a man that is responsible with the city in Egypt named Cairo.
Edo had his sweet 17th birthday happily, but sadly a week after his birthday, Edo’s father got a heart attack which cause him die. So, Edo was hopeless and he cried all day and all night for 3 days. But the good thing is, Mr. Eddy won;t die in a usual style, because he is an honored man, he is burried as a mummy in the coffin .
Firstly, his body was washed and purified. Secondly, the body organs were removed and only the heart remained. Then the body was filled with stuffing.
Fourth, the body was dried by covering with substance called natron. This substance could absorb the moisture from the body. Fifth, the body was wrapped with strands of linen and covered in a sheet called shroud.
Finally, the dead body was placed in a coffin called sarcophagus.
After Edo’s father died recording to the mummification system, Edo lived with his Grandparents and live happily ever after.
