Materials Needed • Pencils #2 • Pocket Folder for papers • $5 Business Lab Fee **Books will stay in the classroom
Expectations • Remain silent when Mrs. Kemp is talking • Go directly to your seat and be in your seat when the tardy bell rings. Immediately begin Bell Work. • You will be given 5 restroom tickets for this semester therefore plan your restroom stops according to your schedule. • Remain seated until bell rings. • Food, drink, candy, gum, etc. are not allowed in lab.
Expectations (continued) • Raise hand when needing assistance. • Follow all school rules–ID, Uniform, Hoods, Cell phones, Headphones, etc. • Games, music videos, inappropriate websites or downloading from the internet is not allowed. • Respect students, computers, books, teachers, and classroom instruction materials. Keep feet on floor. (computers and chairs are not foot stools)

Restroom • Plan your restroom visits between classes and at lunch! • Students will receive 5 restroom tickets for the whole semester for emergencies! • Ticket required to leave class for the restroom. • Must sign out with name, date, and time and take and return lanyard or will not be allowed to go. • Bonus points on exam for any returned tickets at the end of the semester. (May)
Salmen High Property It is a privilege to use Salmen High desks, computers, books, and chairs. Students who abuse the privilege will be moved away from the computer.
Assignments • Students are expected to complete their own assignments and work. • Team members are allowed and encouraged to assist (verbally) but should never put their hands on another student’s computer. Otherwise it is considered Cheating!
Class Participation Grades • Class participation grades based on: • Classroom bell work and assignments • Being on Task (like a job) • Team work (group/partner work) • Effort put forth during class period • Following Instructions • Being on time and following rules • Attitude
