Rising Action (Complications/Where the conflict begins)-The part of the story leading to the climax
ClimaxThe high point of the plot line; the major turning point of the story; the part of the story that gives a hint on how the problem (conflict) will be resolved.
Falling Action- The part of the story following the climax. This is when things start to calm down.
Resolution (Denouement) This is the part of the story when the problem or conflict ends or is resolved. Do you think the resolution is always a happy one for the characters in the story?
