1. What is the Purpose of Negotiation? • The negotiation of a grant agreement is used to clarify the content of the proposal between the winning entity and the topic manager. Many details need to be ironed out at this stage such as: • - Description of Work (DOW) – there may be a need for some clarifications…. • - Deliverables (including reports) • Final amount for the project and related funding by the JU • Reporting periods • IPR aspects between the Partner and the Topic manager The JU will endeavour to assist in this phase both actors (TM and Winner) so that the arrival at signature of the Grant Agreement for Partner can be achieved in a timely way.
