Jason McDougall Innovative Fields CEO Jason McDougall has an impressive resume in the business of discount retail stores: he has been working in the industry since the age of eighteen, and most recently made a purchase of the Fields brand as the owner of FHC Holdings Ltd. As the new CEO of Fields, Jason McDougall has changed the focus of the brand to be a community oriented discount store, where rural-Canadians can find the items they need for great deals.

Jason McDougall Bringing a New Attitude to Fields Outlets As the president and CEO of Fields, Jason McDougall uses his experience in both wholesale, retail and liquidation to run a successful business that offers Western Canadians everything from toiletries to camping gear at discounted prices. When McDougall was fresh out of high school, he started his first business reselling audio tapes that he had purchased for $350. He later went on to invest in discount stores like SaveMart and Bargain Castle.

  3. Jason McDougall Leading the Way for Fields Stores Jason McDougall purchased the Fields brand in spring of 2012 with the intention of reviving the brand with his unique perspective. As a proud Canadian, from a small town in Saskatchewan, he wanted the focus of the brand to be on great customer service and a sense of community. McDougall has built his entire career on opportunity buys such as this, and in 1998 was recognized as one of Forty Under Forty Influential Leaders in Vancouver. That drive and commitment lead to Fields to be recognized as one of the hundred largest companies in British Columbia in 2015.

Jason McDougall Changes the Focus of Fields Jason McDougall has always been passionate about the discount industry, When Fields stores were slated to close in 2012, McDougall enlisted the help of a group of investors to purchase the brand and bring it back to success. As a proud Canadian, McDougall decided to change the focus of Fields to help rural Canadians by providing them with access to clothing, household items, food, and more at great prices.
