RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS FROM PREVIOUS PRESENTATION • Performance Management Signed Performance Agreements (PAs) are due on 30 June 2008. current status sms - received 40 out of 150 Non sms – received 2004 out of 12 546 • A report will be presented in the next cycle of reporting. • Staff Retention The department is working closely with the DPSA Task Team on Occupational Specific Dispensation that will deliver appropriate salary structures for professionals • The Water and Forestry Learning Academy represents the departments long-term strategy to ensure a reliable skills base and human resource pipeline in line with JIPSA and ASGISA • In compliance with the Public Service Act all new officials serve the mandatory twelve (12) months probationary period.
