  3. Pre-reading & Pre-teaching Vocabulary • Draw a chart with three columns. • Copythe following words into the first column. • As a quad, guess each definition in the second column. Picasso, Ocampo, Pryde, Dali and many other painters, illustrators, and cartoonists have represented characters from this novel in their art. • Look at any of these artistic renderings and analyze the artist’s choices. How does the visual art represent the written art?
