Empathy & Compassion What are they? What do these words mean?
Empathy & Compassion What are they? It is when you try to understand how someone else feels—like you have walked in their shoes.
How would someone feel if they raised their hand in class and gave an incorrect answer? How would someone feel if they missed the winning kick in the big game? How would someone feel if they tripped and fell during a PTO play? How would someone feel if their pet died? How would someone feel if they began crying during class and someone called them a cry baby?
How would YOU feel if these things happened to you? How would you want other people to treat you? What are YOU going to do if you see these types of things happening? How are YOU going to show empathy and compassion to others?
