  3. Make Dreams Come True Educate a girl and educate the nation. This is a saying in Mozambique and a dream for many rural girls who are unable to afford an education. The Christian Council of Mozambique helps farmers cover school costs with bursaries for fees, transportation, uniforms, personal products, and school supplies. Help a girl realize her educational dream. Your Gift will provide a one-year bursary for a girl in Mozambique.

  10. 191 immigration detainees in Lindsay, Ontario's Central East Correctional Centre are on strike since Tuesday, September 18th protesting conditions at the prison and their indefinite detention. These migrants are kept locked in cages for 18 hours a day, some of them for up to 7 years because Canada cannot deport them but refuses to release them.
