DEMOCRACY Democracy means government of the people, for the people and by the people. In direct democracy, people directly participate in the administration of the country.
monarchy The Queen is head of state. This is a symbolic role entirely separate from party politics. She does appoint the government and technically could refuse to approve the election winner, but there is no modern precedent for this.
Totalitarian Totalitarianism refers to a political system that relates to a governance by an absolute power. In a totalitarian government, an individual or political entity regulates every aspect of public life.
