Affordable housing in India is becoming more and more difficult as buildings offering this privilege are in a location where most people are investors who are trying to invest in apartments and not people who plan to stay in them because they are located too far away from offices. Luxury apartment buildings are usually located in scenic areas that highlight the city's natural beauty and architecture. Apartments overlooking the sea are always the most expensive in any city. Hence the more affordable apartments are usually on the outskirts of the city which is at quite a distance from many offices and other areas offering basic amenities. Bigger apartments can be cheaper while at half the cost especially if they are situated at a distance from the city's prime business locations.
