(Re)Building bridges to improve the quality of life in the on-campus

This program aims to improve the quality of life in both on-campus and off-campus communities around Northeastern University. Through idea generation, combatting perceptions, and fostering four values (visioning, networking, accessibility, ethical community engagement), the program will focus on placemaking, health and wellness, skills building, and storytelling to create a more immersive and inclusive community. The goals include making the university an accessible resource for local communities, enhancing internal communication for more efficient collaboration, collaborating with city agencies, and networking with peers in community relations. Anticipated challenges include building community capacity and reducing dependency and identifying metrics for success.
