MTEF Motivations for Additional Funding Proposals • Possible Implementation of baseline reductions by National Treasury as indicated in the MTEF Guidelines: • 1% for (2013/14); 2% for (2014/15) and 3% for (2015/16) • Treasury also indicated that there may be no additional resource allocations in the first two years of MTEF • Priority will be given to infrastructure development
