Kundan Jewelry uses gemstones and glass whereas ‘Jadau’ is the technique used to make kundan polki jewelry. “Jadau” is the process of setting gemstone by inserting gold foil. A silver foil is placed under the stone which makes the stone look brighter. Each piece is handcrafted and generally requires long hours to create one kundan masterpiece as the manufacturing procedure is highly complex too. “Jadau” jewelry uses many different colors making it appear more vibrant, wherein by making the beautiful patterns on both sides they become wearable on any side.
