What Growth Management (Smart Growth) Laws Require of Communities • Greater density of housing in urban areas to protect resource lands (farmland and forestry) and rural character from sprawl

This is the Olympic Pipe Line Right-of-way about a mile from where the Olympic Pipeline exploded and killed three in 1999. These homes were built within 15-20 feet of the pipeline after that tragedy
Since homes were built play equipment, trees,sheds, and other structures have been placed on right-of-way
