Geant-4 simulation: draft schedule 15 Oct 22 Oct 28 Oct BCG B BCG 7 Oct 20 Oct 31 Oct G GB GCB 25 Oct 10 Nov 20 Nov CGB CGB GCB (target date) who Subproject • Setup of Geant-4 geometry: • insert simplified beam-line elements • complete setup of new sensitive sensors (CsI, Diamonds…) • check internalgeometry consistency (overlaps, positions…) • Setup of Geant-4 magnetic fields: • define translation of magnetic fields from G3/Turtle to G4 • implement magnetic fields on HER and LER • check consistency with Turtle (HER rays) • Setup of Analysis code: • define variables to be dumped • build/debug framework module to dump root-tuples • merge geometry, magnetic fields and analysis • Initial simulation validation: • check consistency between Geant-4 and Turtle (Both rings) • compare with Geant-3 simulations • start evaluating source distributions for various sensors • … Legend: B = Bond C = Calde G = Gary
