  2. GoalsWe want young people to: • Make positive changes • Lead happy, healthy, sustainable lives • Develop their full potential • Be responsible citizens of the world

  3. PurposeWhat will we use this information for? • Rio+ 20 • Following the MDGs • World Thinking Day campaign (MDG 7) • Climate-change education

  4. MethodsHow will we collect information? • Ask people aged 7 – 25 • Ask boys and girls, young men and young women • Report results to WAGGGS • Creative visualizations • No right or wrong answers

  5. Three Steps • Run exercises and discussions with a group of young people • Record the results on a report sheet • Enter the results in an online survey (available from mid-February to 23rd March)

  6. Part OneThe world we want and the world we don’t want • Learn: about environmental sustainability • Discuss: what the world we want and the world we don’t want look like • Consider: “my future self”

  10. Part ThreeWe are living in a changing world • Learn: about partnership • Discuss: whether we can see the climate changing and how • Consider: what we need to protect the most
