Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology 2013 Seminar Series Wednesday 27th March, 4pm Lecture Theatre M2, Building 13A Associate Professor Kevin Pfleger Western Australian Institute for Medical Research New insights into the molecular pharmacology of receptor complexes Kevin Pfleger is an ARC Future Fellow, Head of Molecular Endocrinology–GPCRs at the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research and Chief Scientific Officer of Dimerix Bioscience, a spin-out company from UWA. He has made important discoveries about the molecular pharmacology, arrestin interactions and heterodimerisation of G protein-coupled receptors and has developed novel bioluminescence resonance energy transfer (BRET) methodology for detection of GPCR-ligand interactions.
