Introduction • We conduct an experiment to witness how bean develop in different kinds of soil and to show what type of soil can produce more nutrients to help the bean grow. • We start this experiment on 5th day of September to 12th day of September. • On the next slides you will see the process on how bean develop. But first, we would like to introduce ourselves.
OLAH! I’m Jessa • My task is to prepare the materials, plant the beans and took pictures for our experiment. • I also the in-charge of observing the bean on how it transform.
Hello! I’m Mimi I’m the one who made this PowerPoint presentation. And I’m also made the plant graph of this experiment.
Planning for Mr. Bean Our plan come up with a preparation for the progress of the bean plant. Me and my partner decided to: Use the plastic cup and different kinds of soil such as mud, sand, and top soil to figure out the improvement of the bean. Placed the Bean plant in which it directly receives the sunlight. watered the bean plant every morning.
Healthy preparation for Mr. Bean • 3 pcs. of Plastic cups • 3 types of soil (mud, top, sand) • Water • Beans Through this materials that we prepared we lucratively made our experiment.
The Experiment Day 1 to Day 7
DAY 1 Mud Soil Top Soil Sand Soil There’s no improvement yet.
DAY 2 Mud Soil The bean had already pop out. Top Soil One of the bean had already pop out. Sand Soil In this figure there’s no improvement
DAY 3 Mud Soil We can see stem and leaves. Top Soil The bean grow petite compare to bean in the mud soil. Sand Soil in sand soil the bean couldn't grow just like the mud and top soil.
DAY 4 Mud Soil In day 4 we can see the improvement we have the stem and leaves. Top Soil in top soil we can see a small stem and little leaves. Sand Soil In this figure we noticed that the bean can’t grow faster than the two.
DAY 5 Mud Soil Tiny stem Small leaves Light color of the leaves Top Soil Had a Healthy stem. fit color of leaves. not totally develop the seed coat. Sand Soil it’s the 1st time to sprout.
DAY 6 Mud Soil Stem had perfectly grow The stem had a tiny growth. leaves had improved and it already germinate well. Top Soil Stem had a better figure Seed coat change to a stem. Sand Soil leaves already germinated Stem had already grow.
THE FINALE Mud Soil stem had improved better but as we can see its stem is so thin. Top Soil in this figure there's another stem that will grow in the plastic cup. Sand Soil this image we can see that the bean in the sand soil had a big improvement, stem had also germinate but not that so healthy.
Bean Growth The result: • The tallest bean grew in the mud soil. • The medium bean grew in the Top soil. • The smallest bean grew in the Sand soil.
The bean can grow fastest in a mud soil, but the structure of its stem is not totally healthy. Experiment Outcome • On the other hand the bean in top soil grow slowly than the mud soil but the bean had a perfect form. • Then the bean in the sand soil can’t grow fast because it can’t absorb water in a long time.
Conclusion • We conclude that Bean Plant can grow fast in a Mud soil because during in our observation we notice that mud soil can absorb water that’s why the bean grow well. While in top soil it develop slowly but it has in good physical shape and the sand soil have less absorption of water so the bean cannot developed in good quality result of a plant.
