  1. Welcome to Level 1 Science with Missy Whalen

  2. I have been teaching since 1994. I think being a teacher is the best job ever. Ever day that I am teaching, I am also learning. I love to learn new things!

  3. I especially love science. I love doing experiments, making observations and learning about all kinds of life forms.

  4. I live in North Carolina with my family. We live near the coast and we all love to learn about marine life.

  5. To be a scientist you must be a good listener and you must always observe the world around you. You must have patience and you must question things around you.

  6. . I have great expectations for you! I want you to see how exciting science can be. I expect you to do your best at all times and stretch your brain!

  7. Always come to class prepared with your science notebook, your pencil and... ... a desire to find out more about the world you live in!
