  6. Dissonance- a harsh, disagreeable combination of sounds.

  7. Cadence- the balance or rhythmic flow of music, speech, poetry, or movement.

  8. Staccato- having short, sharp sounds; abrupt and crisp.

  9. Motif- a recurrent thematic element in art or literature.

  10. Crescendo- a gradual increase in volume or intensity of sound.

  11. Sonata- a composition of three or four independent movements, written for one or more solo instruments, one which is usually a keyboard instrument.
