The Animal Task Force,since 2011 An independent group of stakeholders from private sector and knowledge institutes together working on: • promoting a sustainable and competitiveanimalproduction sector in Europe, • byfosteringknowledgedevelopment and innovation in the animal sector.
GRA: A short introduction Increase agriculture production with lower emissions Improve global cooperation in research Work with farmers and partners to provide knowledge Research groups: Livestock / Crops / Paddy Rice Cross Cutting Groups: Soil CN / Inventories & Measures
What ATF does to create action Developing dialogue with key stakeholders in Europe. (European Commission, Members of Parliament, Industry and Sector Organisations, Science, NGOs) Providing input on EU research & innovationpolicy. (Horizon2020, EIP, JPI FACCE, SCAR) Enhance cooperation in research and innovation in Europe and abroad Enable knowledge exchange, best practices & innovation (i.e. seminars at EAAP and in Brussels)
