Communications Reorganization • University Communications & CALS Communications Services reorganized • Resulting University Communications Group headed by Chief Communications Officer • Four units created with direct reports to CCO • News & Editorial Services – Keith Nichols • Digital, Web & Online Media – Tim Jones • Communications Services – Mark Dearmon • Public Relations & Marketing -- tbd

Communications Reorganization • Mark Dearmon coordinating consolidation of units at the Butler Communications Services Building with the help of Alan Porch • More changes are likely in the future • News Services will relocate to Butler next Fall? • Location of Public Relations group to be determined

  7. Chancellor’s Tour of North Carolina • Built around seven economic development regions in North Carolina • Visits will include: • Tour of “university related” site or project • Meeting with key business leaders • Alumni Association event • Meetings with key donors and supporters of NC State

  8. Chancellor’s Forum • Chancellor Woodson has suggested participating in a series of forums on campus this summer and fall • He is seeking input from everyone • Need to identify the who, what, when, where, why’s and how’s • Volunteers anybody? • Need plan by April 30
