Goals • Develop a university-wide strategic communications plan • To consistently communicate unified university-wide messages and initiatives to NC State Communicators • To serve as a clearinghouse of time-critical messages on NC State issues, incidents and plans • To coordinate and promote professional training and development opportunities for its members • To monitor and capitalize on shared resources and ideas among members to best serve NC State’s overall communications mission • To maintain the highest professional standards and ethics, and promote a spirit of unity and pride among members
Strategic Communications Plan • A coordinated, campus-wide effort to promote strategic communications • Strengthen the university’s brand and unify key themes and messages • Maximize use of available research and resources • Identify and propagate best practices and the most cost-effective communications strategies • Provide guidance where needed

We produce more graduates than any other university in the state, we have more students than any other university in the state. We have the largest faculty and staff of any university in the state, we have facilities in every county in the state and we create more jobs and economic impact than any other university in the state.
