Overview • A local based driving school, known as U-Drive School of Motoring is looking to expand it’s current home based office of 2 employees. CEO Colin Powell and his wife to a new office with approximately 30 office staff. • The new office building requires a brand new computer network and has asked us to carry out a feasibility study on different solutions to their problem.
The Client • U-Drive is a locally based driving school • Based within the Highcliffe area in Dorset • Founded and run by CEO Colin Powell • Is primarily home based but looking to expand
The Project • Our project is to conduct a feasibility study for U-Drive to create a system that will be used with the new expansion of the business • Deliverables will include: • Working Prototype of System • Floor plan listing devices • 3 Different cost plans of various brands • Report with complete details of the process • Newly designed Website (requirement removed)
Methodology • Idea is based on the Waterfall model
Methodology • Starting with the requirements set in the Terms of Reference. • Following on to the design phase. • Designing the Floor Plan • Designing Logical Topology • Designing Addressing Scheme, VLANs (Virtual Local Area Network) etc.
