Key lessons • Build a rapport over a number of weeks • Break tasks down into 10-15 minutes max. • Lots of colour, lots of images, not too much text • Variety of tasks e.g. Computer based, desk, writing, thinking, ticking, discussion • Write down username and password • Seek feedback for each activity • Involve teachers in the activities • Bring in speakers...or even better – go out and visit the workplace!
