Research to date • Title of Thesis • The influence of intellectual capital investment, risk, industry membership and corporate governance on the voluntary disclosure of intellectual capital by UK listed companies • 450 companies • Competitive advantage, resource based view of the firm, signalling theory, competitive cost hypothesis and agency theory • Empirical analysis (Annual reports, DataStream and STATA)
