Sec 2: Carbon Compounds KEY CONCEPTS • Many organic compounds have similar properties in terms of melting points, boiling points, odor, electrical conductivity, & solubility • Hydrocarbons mix poorly with water. Also, all hydrocarbons are flammable Mrs. Lee - Ch 8
