  3. PILOT CURRICULAR PROJECT • 2 groups of 12 students each • 2 unembalmedcadavers • 2-hour lab • Developed laboratory protocol

  4. RESEARCH QUESTION Does exposure of first year medical students to an unembalmed, partially dissected cadaver increase their appreciation of the natural relationship of organs in the neck, thorax, abdomen and pelvis?

  5. RATIONALE OF THE STUDY • Modify laboratory protocol • Evaluate usefulness of fresh tissue study • Elicit reaction to death
