Secondary Perkins Funding Perkins Funding: Allocated based on individuals aged 5-17 who reside in school district (30%) and who are below the poverty level (70%) as compared to the total state number. Perkins Recipient: An LEA must qualify for a grant of at least $15,000 under the formula to receive an allocation, or it must enter into a consortium that meets the minimum allocation requirement. (Section 131) Local Levels of Performance: Each eligible recipient that receives an allocation shall annually submit a report regarding the progress of the recipient in achieving the local adjusted levels of performance on the core indicators of performance.
Perkins Due Dates • Perkins Annual Plan: June 1 • Perkins Performance Reports: June 30 • Past Due PTE Forms: • 10E – Program Enrollment (due Feb 15th or March 15th) • 10SS – Secondary Concentrator Follow-up Report (due Feb 15th) • Local Annual Application (due May 1st). This includes the 10F Program Budget Request and Statement of Assurances.
