  2. The Land of Saudi Arabia A significant landform of Saudi Arabia is The Red Sea. The Red Sea is an inlet from the Indian Ocean and it’s between Asia and Africa. I know what your thinking and no the red sea is not red. The Red Sea is about 169,00 square miles.

  3. Land…continued.. Natural resources of Saudi Arabia include petroleum, natural gas, iron ore, and copper.

  4. Climate/Vegetation The climate of Saudi Arabia is very hot and dry at most places. Towards the Red Sea there is a substantial amount of rain fall.

  5. Government The king of Saudi Arabia is Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz. The type of government is Islamic absolute monarchy.

  6. Current Event A current event in Saudi is the Yemen rebels have been fighting with Saudi troops at the border near Lebanon. The rebels say they have captured many Saudi soldiers and will kill them if the fighting does not stop.

  7. Economy Saudi Arabia is the largest exporter in the world of petroleum. The Literacy Rate of Saudi is 82%.

  8. Culture The official language of Saudi Arabia is Arabic and the most popular religion practiced is Islam. Most building structures are made from stone and concrete. They are very old and many are for religion purposes.

  9. Places to visit One big place to visit in Saudi would be Mecca. Mecca is known to be the holiest place on earth. Every Muslim must make the Hajj (pilgrim to Mecca) at least once in their lifetime. Making the Hajj will forgive them for all of their sins. When at Mecca they pray at the Ka’aba.
